James Street Dentists, (formerly Aesthetic Excellence) is a dental practice located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Founded by Dr Anne-Maree Cole in 2006, our practice today is an integral part of the community, committed to raising the standard of excellence and changing the face of dentistry. While we might not look like a ‘normal’ dentist, we certainly are here to help all patients, whether it is for their routine general dentistry or some of our more complex care, such as help for chronic head, neck and jaw pain, sleep apnoea and snoring, orthodontic, orofacial myofunctional therapy or a beautiful smile make over.

The care and comfort of our patients is central to our purpose. Our team consists of our Dentists, Dr Anne-Maree Cole and Dr Susan Gibbs who have worked together for over 20 years and Dr Predra Bijelic, who joined our practice in 2019. We are fortunate to have other dental practitioners at James Street Dentists - Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myologist, Robbern White and our two Oral Health Therapists and Orofacial Myologists, Cheree Wheaton and Debbie Holliday. Our team would not be complete without our dedicated and knowledgeable clinical and practice administration staff. Together, we do in excess of 700 hours of Continuing Professional Development every year to ensure we are always learning and providing our patients with the very best care.

Snoring & Sleep Apnoea

Dr Anne-Maree Cole has a Masters' Degree in Sleep Medicine and lectures nationally and internationally on the areas of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr Susan Gibbs has been trained by and worked with Anne-Maree for over 20 years. Untreated snoring and sleep apnoea is associated with serious health consequences and it is important that you are treated and managed adequately.
